Words, meanings, and examples you submit to the dictionary.
Basic usage data (page views, referrer) collected anonymously through server logs.
Cookies required for authentication when you access the admin dashboard.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers from visitors who browse the dictionary without logging in.

How We Use Your Information

To display and manage dictionary entries.
To maintain the security of the admin dashboard.
To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies:

Session cookie — keeps admin users logged in during a browser session. Deleted when you close the browser.
welcome_dismissed — a sessionStorage flag that prevents the welcome modal from showing again in the same tab. Not a cookie and never sent to our servers.

We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

Data Retention

Dictionary entries you submit are retained indefinitely as part of the public archive. If you wish to have a submission removed, contact us and we will action your request promptly. Admin session data is cleared on logout.

Third Parties

The dictionary is hosted on infrastructure that may log requests for security purposes. No third-party analytics, advertising networks, or social tracking scripts are embedded in this site.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, reach out via the Oisora platform.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
