Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others remain until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).

How We Use Cookies

Oisora Language Archive uses a minimal number of cookies — only those strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking across other websites.

Cookies We Set

admin_sessionSession · Strictly Necessary

Authenticates admin users and keeps them logged in during a browser session. This cookie is only set when an admin signs in and is deleted when the browser is closed or the user logs out.

welcome_dismissedsessionStorage · Functional

Stores a flag in your browser's sessionStorage (not a cookie) to prevent the welcome modal from appearing more than once per tab. This data never leaves your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not embed third-party scripts, analytics platforms, social media widgets, or advertising networks on this site. No third-party cookies are set by dict.oisora.com.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete cookies stored by any site.
  • Block cookies from specific sites or all sites.
  • Be notified when a cookie is set.

Note that blocking the admin session cookie will prevent you from accessing the admin dashboard. Browsing the public dictionary requires no cookies at all.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
